Ghostwriter Workshop is an adventure game about composing letters for clients in the republic of Wilsbury.
Requests include love letters, invitations to duel, apologies, and contracts. Roulette determines the concluding lines, which can produce unsuitable or absurd results, such as insults appearing in romantic messages. Across five episodes, players explore the town, speak with 11 characters, and search for expressions that fit each request. Words discovered during exploration are used when preparing letters.
