Our take on Hexteria
Instead of using movement, combat, or resource collection as its central structure, this strategy game makes a single tile rotation the key decision each turn. Territory spreads through connected tiles, while special tile behaviors replace the usual unit-focused conflict found in many strategy games.
What is Hexteria?
Hexteria combines turn-based strategy with puzzle mechanics on a hexagonal board.
Each turn, a player rotates one tile in their color clockwise. If it points toward an opposing or empty tile, that tile changes color and spreads through connected tiles. The objective is to remove every rival color from the board. Matches support 2 to 6 players, with online, offline, or AI-controlled participants. A single-player campaign contains 42 levels, while a level editor allows players to create, share, and play custom stages. AI opponents have four difficulty settings. Eight special tile types introduce different effects, including freezing, flipping, burning, tunneling, and exploding after repeated color changes.
