Our take on Heretic's Fork
The card-and-tower setup focuses play on preparing defenses and holding a single rift. That gives up the broader control of units, territory, or battlefields found in strategy games built around large armies.
What is Heretic's Fork?
Take a job managing Hell’s population and defend the rift between Hell and Earth from heretics trying to escape.
Choose a demon subordinate to oversee site operations, then use a deck-building system to plan strategies and strengthen defenses. Construct monstrous towers that deal Holy, Unholy, and Hellfire damage, and stop sinners from crossing the area and damaging property. Strong results earn additional cards for the deck. Shifts cover departments representing different circles of Hell, with wages based on the number of sinners punished. The game combines tower defense with card-based planning and a darkly comic workplace premise.
