Helvetii is a character-action game set in ancient Swiss Gaul, where a spreading rot affects the land and gradually corrupts the mind and heart of the war chief Divico.
Players can control three characters: Divico, the druid Nammeios, or the half-beast Renart. Each has a distinct playstyle and special attacks. Combat includes acrobatic combos, launching and juggling enemies, using terrain to an advantage, and pursuing high ranks and rewards. Items, summons, altars, and powers from primal deities add options during fights, while each character retains a complete core moveset. The journey passes through untamed forests, abandoned villages overtaken by cultists, snowy areas, and underground tunnels in a detailed 2D presentation with a close camera.
