The character-switching structure gives the three heroes distinct tools for combat and traversal, but requires players to work with three movesets rather than relying on one consistent set of abilities.
What is Clan O'Conall and the Crown of the Stag?
Set in the mythical land of Hibernia, this hand-drawn action platformer follows three heirs confronting Caoránach, the Mother of Demons, after she kidnaps Chief Arden and takes the Crown of the Stag.
Players switch between Kilcannon, Clakshot, and Haggish to combine swordplay, archery, movement, obstacle removal, and enemy throwing. The heroes cross mortal and Fae realms, solve puzzles, traverse chasms and landscapes, and fight undead Sluagh and other enemies. Kilcannon focuses on close combat, Clakshot on agility and ranged attacks, while Haggish moves obstacles and breaks barriers. The story covers family, honor, and sacrifice through animated cutscenes, with Celtic-inspired music and artwork influenced by manuscript illustration and Celtic designs.
