Our take on Heave Ho
Rather than giving each player an independent route through a platforming level, Heave Ho makes movement depend on shared grips, linked bodies, and coordinated swings. Its versus mode applies the same awkward traversal to direct competition, replacing solo progression with collective physical comedy.
What is Heave Ho?
Heave Ho supports group play for as many as four people, with local cooperative and competitive modes plus internet play via Steam Remote Play.
Participants seize ledges and teammates, link together in precarious chains, and swing through stages that grow harder over time. Losing hold may drop a character into the void or onto spikes. Base characters can receive cosmetic accessories that do not alter play. Competitive mode contains 20 stages found nowhere else in the game. Camel-gas clouds add hazards. Cooperation drives team rounds, while versus play focuses on direct rivalry.
