Rather than keeping escape rooms strictly cooperative, the game adds a race format: competitors are separated and try to get out before the others. It also allows solo play, so the room-puzzle structure can be approached without a group.
What is Escape First 3?
Escape First 3 is an escape-room puzzle game for desktop PC or virtual reality.
It offers three rooms: an abandoned school, a manor where a relative has hidden an inheritance, and an old keep tied to a lost artifact. Players solve puzzles in solo play, work together as a team, or compete in Versus mode. Multiplayer supports up to 6 people; in Versus, each player is placed alone in a room and races to escape before the others. Desktop play uses a keyboard and mouse or a gamepad. VR play supports room-scale or standing tracking with motion controllers.
