Our take on Unsafe Express
The game places survival horror inside a company-run delivery loop, with group-voted objectives, material quotas, and a 3-day work deadline. Its space-station expeditions replace a purely escape-focused structure with repeated commercial missions, including selling gathered resources for profit.
What is Unsafe Express?
Unsafe Express is a multiplayer survival-horror game for up to four participants, viewed from a character’s perspective.
A terminal sends the group between space stations on a train traveling through space, where players search dim locations, gather supplies, and face dangerous creatures. Before each assignment, the group votes on its difficulty. Tasks may require collecting specific objects, defeating enemies, or reaching a required supply total. Collected materials can be exchanged for money and used to finish assignments. Each one has a three-day deadline, so station visits require advance planning. The game also offers nearby-player voice communication, avatar customization, varied equipment, unusual death sequences, and a pettable cat. Missions follow a recurring pattern of searching, harvesting, fighting, and transporting goods.
