Our take on Haunted House
The bounce point arrives after a failed run: being knocked out sends Lyn back to the entrance, then rearranges the floor and enemy placement. Players who want fixed routes or steady stage progress may lose patience with repeating the mansion under changing conditions.
What is Haunted House?
Haunted House is a 3D isometric roguelite adventure centered on stealth.
Players guide Lyn Graves through procedurally arranged mansion rooms while avoiding ghouls, ectoplasms, and other enemies. Walls, enemy positions, and ghost encounters change between runs. Lyn searches for fragments of a magical urn and faces a boss guarding each shard while rescuing her uncle and friends. Traps and items can distract pursuing creatures, and light combat appears alongside the stealth challenges.
Gems improve skills and perks for later attempts. If Lyn is knocked out, the run ends at the entrance and the next attempt uses a different floor arrangement. Rescued friends become playable characters with different statistics. Collectibles and story elements reference the original Haunted House and other Atari-era games.
