Our take on Harmonia
Its story-first kinetic-novel format trades interactive systems for a fixed presentation built around scenario, art, music, and character performances. That focus leaves little room for player agency, experimentation, or gameplay-driven variation between sessions.
What is Harmonia?
Harmonia is a kinetic novel set in a distant future damaged by war, where ash-filled skies, barren land, and scarce water have reduced humanity to scattered communities.
Rei, an unfinished Phiroid with nonfunctioning emotions and exposed machinery on his right hand, leaves a ruined factory to seek human companionship and recover what he has lost. After Shiona finds him, she brings him to a small settlement, where he gradually learns about emotions. The story is presented through written scenarios, character art, music, voice performances, and theme and insert songs. Other characters include Shiona, a girl who sings and comforts residents, and Tipi, a mysterious girl living in the town library.
