Our take on Stella of The End
Players may bounce off when the escort premise becomes central: Jude must protect Philia while teaching her how to survive. Those looking for a story focused on managing a base or crafting supplies may find that this journey has a different focus.
What is Stella of The End?
Jude Gray, a roaming courier, takes a job carrying mysterious freight and finds that his passenger is Philia, an android untouched by the Singularity Machines controlling the planet.
He accompanies her through dangerous territory, shielding her from people and machines while showing her the skills needed to stay alive. Philia longs to become human and thinks that transformation could let her rescue humanity. Along the way, they meet Willem Grosvenor, an aristocrat pursuing a campaign to reclaim the world from the machines, and Delilah, a damaged android seeking the man she regards as her father. Their trek unfolds as human civilization nears extinction and the pair reach their final destination.
