Skip it if you…
Saves you a refund- Players seeking a single-player campaign may hit a wall at the multiplayer team format.
- Players who want a combat-focused game may find that the healthy crew's play centers on ship upkeep, observation, and meetings.
- Players looking for a factory-building puzzle game may find SpaceChem's construction and resource-processing focus is a different fit.
Our take on Hand Simulator: Aliens
The likely sticking point is the meeting cycle: players must gather in the docking module, discuss a suspect, and vote, while the AI disinfects the area and opens the airlocks afterward. Anyone who dislikes group deliberation under timed hazards may bounce at that transition.
What is Hand Simulator: Aliens?
Hand Simulator: Aliens is a multiplayer survival game set aboard a spaceship headed for Earth after a crash.
Players join either the healthy crew or the infected. Healthy players maintain ship systems, watch their colleagues, and meet to vote on suspected infected crew members. Finding a body can trigger an emergency meeting. Infected players can attack healthy crew from behind, see in darkness, sabotage ship systems, and try to deceive others during votes. Meetings take place in the docking module, where the ship’s artificial intelligence runs gas disinfection and opens airlocks to eject anyone still there afterward. The AI also announces system changes and disinfection preparations over the loudspeaker. The game supports 3 to 10 players.
