Our take on Gyromancer
Gyromancer places puzzle mechanics inside RPG combat rather than treating them as a separate activity. Its stage structure also mixes timed challenges, creature collection, and hidden awards with familiar level progression.
What is Gyromancer?
Gyromancer combines role-playing with tile-based puzzles as Rivel and Laska pursue a journey across 12 stages.
Each area sets tasks such as fighting hostile creatures or solving timed challenges. Rivel can capture beasts encountered along the way, then direct them during combat; every creature provides a different battle choice. The fighting mechanics take inspiration from Bejeweled Twist. Exploration reveals items, coins, additional beasts, and achievement rewards. Battles grant experience and open access to more creatures. Rivel’s mission is to drive a growing shadow from Aldemona Wood.
How Gyromancer plays
- 01Beast Summoning
- Rivel can learn to call creatures found during the hunt and use them in battles.
- 02Varied Objectives
- Stage tasks include fighting beasts and completing puzzles under time limits.
- 03Hidden Awards
- Stages conceal rewards for completing feats.
- 04Battle Progression
- Rivel gains levels through combat and can obtain additional beasts.
