Our take on Gunbrella
The defining mechanic is the Gunbrella itself: one tool handles firearm combat while also enabling gliding, swinging, dashing, and diving through the environment.
What is Gunbrella?
Gunbrella is a side-scrolling action-adventure set in a rain-soaked noir-punk metropolis affected by the decline of a vital natural resource.
Players control a gruff woodsman seeking revenge while investigating towns, junkyards, and other unusual locations. The Gunbrella serves as both a high-caliber weapon and a traversal tool, allowing gliding, swinging, dashing, and diving during exploration and combat. The investigation involves cults, gangs, police, corporate exploitation, and supernatural enemies. A notebook records discoveries and encourages returning to previously visited places. Scrap and spare parts can be collected and exchanged for different ammunition types and weapon upgrades.
