Skip it if you…
Saves you a refund- Players looking for a forgiving flight system may hit a wall when changing gravity affects navigation.
- Players seeking a relaxed, low-pressure campaign may bounce off the taxing missions and increasingly difficult solar systems.
- Players wanting a role-playing progression system may find the mission-focused arcade structure too narrow.
Our take on Gravitar: Recharged
The bounce point arrives in cooperative play: the shared tether links both pilots, so uncoordinated movement can quickly turn ordinary navigation into a failed run.
What is Gravitar: Recharged?
Gravitar: Recharged is an arcade action game about piloting a lone craft through abstract solar systems.
Players rotate, thrust, and fire while navigating planets and space stations guarded by hostile aliens. Changing gravity creates different flight conditions across the environments. Arcade mode moves the pilot from one solar system to the next after missions are completed, in a quest to get home. The game includes 24 taxing challenges with global leaderboards. Tractor-beam pickups include homing missiles and EMP disruptors. Cooperative play supports two pilots connected by a tether in every mode, making coordination part of the play. Painterly pastel visuals accompany an ambient soundtrack by Megan McDuffee.
How Gravitar: Recharged plays
