Our take on God of Rock
The defining structure is a 1v1 fight where successful rhythm inputs build meter and attacks make the opponent’s song increasingly difficult, combining musical timing with escalating combat pressure.
What is God of Rock?
God of Rock combines rhythm gameplay with fighting-game combat in 1v1 matches.
Players choose from 12 musicians, each with distinct mechanics and attacks, then hit notes in time with songs to build meter. Meter can be spent on EX moves, special attacks, and a finishing Super, while attacks add complexity to the opponent’s track. Music becomes harder as each match continues. The game includes over 40 songs and 8 stages, plus a branching Story Mode, Training Mode, a Track Editor for changing note patterns, and local or ranked online multiplayer. Matches can be played casually or competitively against other players.
