Saves you a refund- Players seeking a deep strategy game may find the tactical layer limited to choosing groups and leaders, using abilities, and repositioning units.
- Players who want a varied campaign structure may find the repeated parade-and-beat format becomes repetitive across stages.
- Players looking for online multiplayer may not find a fit in the stated single-player and local co-op modes.
Our take on Pride Run
Rather than separating rhythm gameplay from strategy, Pride Run combines beat timing with real-time group control. Its parade route and dance battles replace the usual focus on solo performance or conventional combat stages.
What is Pride Run?
Pride Run combines rhythm-action gameplay with a real-time strategy mode across 16 cities.
In Vanilla mode, players follow the disco soundtrack, gaining parade spectators for hitting beats and losing them when they miss. The parade continues through each city, followed by dance battles against opponents who question LGBTQ+ rights. Play Hard adds tactical control: choose parade groups and leaders, use their abilities, and reposition groups in real time. Both modes support single-player and local co-op, with three difficulty settings: Virgin, Vicious, and Queen. City events and characters vary along the route. The game centers on Pride parades and LGBTQ+ inclusiveness.
