Our take on GINKA
The defining premise is the reunion between Ryusei and a girl who looks like his childhood friend, disappeared five years earlier, has not aged, and does not know her own name.
What is GINKA?
GINKA is a visual novel about Aoba Ryusei, a high school student who returns to the small island of his childhood during summer break.
Five years earlier, his childhood friend Shinomiya Ginka disappeared during a summer festival, leading islanders to say she had been spirited away. Ryusei learns that she was never seen again, but then encounters a girl who looks exactly like Ginka. She does not know her own name, has not aged, and says that she loves him. The story follows Ryusei’s attempt to understand where she came from while spending a summer with her on the island. The game features writing by Konno Asta, character art by Yusano and Akio Watanabe, and music by Fuminori Matsumoto.
