Our take on Gem Rush
Instead of following a fixed board layout, each turn can enlarge and reorient the mine. The changing room network makes exploration part of the scoring system, while the same core rules support competition, cooperation, solo play, and a clock-driven crisis mode.
What is Gem Rush?
Gem Rush is a digital adaptation of a tile-laying board game about dwarves excavating a magical mine.
Players move up to three spaces, then build rooms by spending gem cards that match each doorway. Newly placed rooms expand the mine and provide abilities for drawing additional cards. Rush Mode has players compete for the highest score, while Crisis Mode adds a deck timer and requires reaching a target before the cards run out. The game supports competitive, cooperative, and solitaire play for 1–7 players, with online and hotseat multiplayer. It includes more than 60 room abilities, 20 player skills, four AI levels, and both quick and asynchronous games with one turn per day.
