Our take on Fuga: Melodies of Steel 2
The store emphasis falls on tactical additions and consequential choices, but the structure remains a story-led RPG: route selection and Judgment Gauges shape events within a defined rescue plot rather than an open-ended campaign.
What is Fuga: Melodies of Steel 2?
Fuga: Melodies of Steel 2 is a turn-based RPG set one year after the previous game.
Children are called to investigate the recovered Taranis, which suddenly runs amok and takes several party members. The remaining group boards the enemy tank Tarascus with Malt to pursue it and rescue their friends. Battles use a revised tactical system with changes to the Soul Cannon and the addition of Managarm. Players choose routes across branching battlefields and can use airship support during their advance. Decisions influence Judgment Gauges, which change how events unfold. The game is presented as a standalone experience that does not require playing the first Fuga title.
