Our take on Fuga: Melodies of Steel 3
Rather than centering a lone hero, this RPG makes a tank and its group of children the focus of progression. Its combat also departs from fixed attack patterns through weakness chains and assists, while timeline navigation lets route decisions alter events.
What is Fuga: Melodies of Steel 3?
Fuga: Melodies of Steel 3 follows children who board the Taranis to search for Malt and enter the Berman Empire.
Battles use weakness combos that increase damage with successive hits, while assist attacks bring supporting characters, former enemies, and a warrior from earlier games into combat. Between battles, the Intermission system lets the Taranis develop through the Omega Terminal and new Taranis Skills. Strategic route features include Power Spots for discovering hidden abilities, Assist Transmissions for character interactions, and the Akasha Panel for navigating a timeline and altering events. The game presents difficult decisions within the series’ concluding story and can be played without prior experience of the first two Fuga titles.
