Our take on Fragments
Its focus on a contained psychological investigation keeps the experience centered on decisions and memory, but limits the range of gameplay systems. The two-ending structure also gives the narrative a defined boundary rather than an expansive set of outcomes.
What is Fragments?
Fragments is a 2D psychological interactive-fiction game set in the near future.
It follows Evan, a young man questioning whether he committed a serious crime while two detectives interrogate him. Players investigate his situation through reconstructions of traumatic memories, then decide whether to follow his conscience or reject it. These choices affect the story’s outcome and shape Evan’s conclusion at the facility. The game presents unsettling events connected to his predicament and focuses on uncovering the truth behind them. It includes an original soundtrack created for the game and offers two possible endings. Achievements currently do not work on macOS.
