Our take on Forge Industry
The focus on manufacturing and settlement management leaves less room for direct combat. Progress depends on coordinating materials, roads, workshops, research, and trade rather than relying on a single crafting activity.
What is Forge Industry?
Forge Industry is a strategy game about building a settlement around blacksmithing and manufacturing.
Transport raw materials, create roads, smelt metals, and produce weapons, armor, and other items. Workshop automation and supply-chain management support the settlement’s production process, while research introduces new materials and weapons. Restoring the harbor opens trade routes, and outside challenges involve fulfilling weapon orders for factions in exchange for knowledge. The game includes four environments—Plains, Desert, Snowy Peaks, and Islands—with randomly generated worlds. Each playthrough can use different production approaches, and community extensions can add new mechanics. The stated long-term objective is to craft a valuable ring for a marriage proposal.
