Our take on Forest Smasher
Its short-run, combat-first structure keeps the focus on immediate destruction, but gives up mission variety and broader task-based progression. The randomized maze layouts and many build combinations provide variation within that narrow loop.
What is Forest Smasher?
Forest Smasher is a third-person shooter roguelike built around exploration, looting, destruction, and rapid combat.
Each run takes place in a procedurally arranged maze where terrain, obstacles, and enemies can be destroyed with weapons and explosions. Players dodge incoming projectiles while upgrading a hero and assembling a build from item combinations. The game includes 18 heroes, 11 weapons, more than 150 item combinations, and over 30 level templates. Runs are structured to last 30 minutes, with shooting and aiming intended for players who do not need prior shooter experience. The focus is combat rather than missions or other tasks.
