Our take on Fireball Wizard
The bounce point arrives when progress depends on more than firing at enemies: puzzles, obstacles, hidden areas, and boss encounters all sit inside the level structure. Players seeking a straightforward run-and-gun platformer may lose interest when exploration and problem solving become necessary.
What is Fireball Wizard?
Fireball Wizard is a retro arcade platformer set in the magical world of Wizardonia.
Players guide a wizard through pixelated forests, caves, castles, and other environments while using fireballs and other abilities against enemies and bosses. The game combines platforming, combat, exploration, and puzzle solving across 4 worlds and 40+ levels. Hidden secrets are placed throughout the environments, while progression unlocks spells, abilities, costumes, and equipment upgrades. Obstacles and puzzles test movement and combat skills as the wizard advances through the game. Each world contains different dangers and areas to explore, with boss encounters providing larger combat challenges.
