Play it if you…

Skip it if you…
Saves you a refund- Players seeking a long game may find the intended 1–2-hour experience too brief.
- Players looking for action-heavy or mechanically complex gameplay may find the minimalist investigation too restrained.
- Players who prefer direct exploration without remote rover navigation may not enjoy the central investigation method.
Our take on Finish Report
The compact, minimalist format keeps the investigation focused, but it leaves little room for a long-running campaign. Players who want extended exploration or a broader set of activities may find the 1–2-hour scope limiting.
What is Finish Report?
This short science-fiction horror game follows a solo investigator sent to learn why a deep-space station has gone silent.
Use the shuttle’s computer to carry out tasks and build a report from the station’s records. A remote-controlled rover explores the station’s corridors and connects to terminals, allowing log files to be downloaded to the shuttle. The investigation centers on what happened to the station and its approximately 300 occupants. The rover provides grainy video footage and sharper still photographs. The game uses minimalist gameplay and builds horror through dread and paranoia. The experience is intended to take 1–2 hours, and the report can be completed at any point during the investigation.
How Finish Report plays
- 01Remote Rover Investigation
- The rover explores station corridors and links terminals to the shuttle computer so log files can be retrieved.
- 02Shuttle Computer Tasks
- Tasks on the computer contribute to solving the station’s disappearance and compiling the report.
- 03Flexible Report Completion
- The report can be finished at any point, leaving the investigator to decide whether the collected evidence is enough.
- 04Two Camera Views
- The rover provides grainy video footage as well as sharper still photographs.
