Our take on FINAL FURY
Rather than keeping the fighter’s actions on a controller, this game makes punches, blocks, and special attacks physical in VR. Its first-person fights also shift to cinematic third-person views for some finishers and grapples, departing from a consistently fixed fighting-game perspective.
What is FINAL FURY?
FINAL FURY is a virtual-reality fighting title blending traditional fighter systems with bodily movement.
Players throw punches, raise guards, and trigger special moves through their own actions. Matches use a first-person view, while certain grapples and finishing sequences shift into cinematic third-person scenes. The roster contains seven fighters. Arcade Mode pits players against computer-controlled rivals and offers rewards to unlock. Online matches support play between platforms and rollback networking, while solo and offline bouts are also available. Zardonic created the soundtrack. The game supports approaches including aggressive rushdown, footsie-based spacing, and action cancels, with an entry-level skill curve that develops into demanding mastery.
