RPGIs Fell & Sell worth it for you?
We tell you who should skip it, too.
Play it if you…
Good fit- Players who want dungeon combat tied to shopkeeping and pricing
- Fans of risk-and-reward runs where death can erase unsecured loot
- Players who enjoy crafting equipment and developing a small fantasy store
Skip it if you…
Saves you a refund- Players who want combat without a shop-management system may stop at the pricing and inventory phase.
- Players seeking low-risk progression may bounce off the loss of an entire unsecured haul after death.
- Players looking for a story-led adventure may find the focus on repeated expeditions, crafting, and business growth too systems-oriented.
Our take on Fell & Sell
The bounce point arrives when a dungeon run becomes a financial decision: return with the current haul or continue toward rarer loot while risking its total loss. Players who are comfortable with combat but dislike pricing, stocking, and reinvesting may hit the wall once the shop becomes central to progression.
What is Fell & Sell?
Fell & Sell combines first-person hack-and-slash dungeon runs with shop management.
Enter descending dungeons or forage in a forest, fight skeletons and other creatures, and carry loot back to safety. Unbanked items are lost if the character dies, creating a choice between securing a haul and pushing farther for rarer rewards. Dungeon altars can alter combat through effects such as shrinking, converting heavy items into gold, or changing combat states. Back at the cabin, materials and recipes support weapon and armor crafting. Furniture can provide combat bonuses and affect shop sales. Set prices according to supply, demand, shop prestige, and decoration bonuses, then reinvest earnings into business growth.
How Fell & Sell plays
- 01Dungeon Expeditions
- Descending runs contain increasingly rare loot, but death removes the haul that has not been secured.
- 02Combat-Altering Altars
- Dungeon altars can change character size, transform heavy objects into gold, or modify combat states.
- 03Forest Foraging
- The forest includes goblin attacks, thunderstorms, and a mushroom season described as mentally disorienting.
- 04Shop Pricing
- Item prices can be adjusted around supply, demand, shop prestige, and bonuses from decorations.
- 05Functional Decoration
- Furniture arrangements can grant lasting combat bonuses and increase the shop's sales appeal.
