Our take on AL・FINE
The store-management premise receives most of the emphasis, while the narrative structure is also a meaningful part of the game. Its business loop is framed around market purchases, shop expansion, customer timing, and dungeon-sourced goods rather than direct adventuring.
What is AL・FINE?
AL・FINE follows Louis as he runs an item shop in Notte Luce, a commercially developed town where humans, sprites, and kindred live together.
The core business loop involves purchasing goods at low market prices, selling them for profit, and using the proceeds to expand the store and compete with rival shops. Customer numbers vary according to in-game weather and time of day, so shop planning includes choosing when to sell. Earned points can change the interior, enlarge the premises, and add product categories. As the story progresses, adventurers can be hired to explore dungeons and return with merchandise, including items available only through those expeditions. The story also introduces characters from the town’s different cultures.
