Our take on Feed The Pit
The bounce point arrives when an investigation offers an unhelpful card hand. Progress depends on working within those limits while a mission-specific monster remains an unknown threat, creating a wall for players who prefer predictable deductions and familiar enemy patterns.
What is Feed The Pit?
Feed The Pit is a linear, story-driven investigative horror game set in Carrister Valley.
The player hunts wealthy targets through a dangerous card game while avoiding relentless monsters. Magical cards ask questions about each target's location, and selecting useful inquiries narrows the map until one possible site remains. Card selection is limited, so each investigation depends on the available hand, with no two investigations following the same process. Every mission introduces a new monster whose behavior must be discovered through observation and dangerous gambles. The game also presents a branching story about the E. C. C. and its Chosen Circle. Act 1 is available at launch; Acts 2 and 3 are planned as free updates in the coming months.
How Feed The Pit plays
- 01Location Deduction
- Magical cards provide questions that narrow the target's position on the map.
- 02Restricted Card Hands

- 03Changing Monster Threats
- Every mission brings a new monster whose behavior must be studied to survive.
- 04Branching Narrative
- The story follows the E.C.C. and its Chosen Circle through multiple possible directions.
