Our take on False Myth
The bounce point arrives when the adventure moves beyond swordplay: players must manage card hands in tile-based dungeons, investigate city problems, and spend time on fishing, jobs, or relationships. Those systems are central detours rather than brief extras.
What is False Myth?
Play as Rouge, a swordswoman transformed into a man after taking a syringe meant for Lylan's governor, Rita.
Accept a bodyguard role, investigate assassination attempts, and work with Rita's Justice Guild across the city's districts. The adventure combines exploration, conversations, information gathering, and encounters with residents. Dungeons use a board-game structure, with tiles producing different events or effects. In combat, build a card hand and use it to counter enemies or support allies. Outside the main investigation, fish, take restaurant jobs for extra money, give gifts to party members, and learn about their lives. Hand-drawn character sprites appear in both city scenes and battles.
