What is Jin Conception?
Jin Conception combines a nonlinear fantasy mystery with turn-based JRPG combat and social deduction.
Nine playable characters have connected stories after three enter Final Layer and two disappear. Clues appear throughout the journey, while a hint system can point toward the next destination; exploration can also continue without hints. Combat takes place on the movement field and includes buffs, afflictions, traps, and attacks that combine two or three party members.
Enemies and endings can vary, with random elements in some boss battles across playthroughs. The game includes romance, rewards for correctly identifying friends and foes, saving outside battles and cutscenes, and additional Continue Game+ content. Grinding is not required, but monsters can defeat characters in one hit and bosses are difficult.
