Rather than centering on constant combat, the game places investigation, puzzle solving, and light conservation inside its horror structure. Darkness is an active threat: managing batteries, candles, and oil becomes part of moving through the mansion and uncovering its history.
What is Evil Manor?
Play as Ahmed, whose journalist father vanished after entering the Milasa family mansion.
Explore the abandoned house, investigate its history, and solve puzzles to uncover clues and continue through the adventure. Creatures must be confronted and destroyed along the way. Light management is part of progression: batteries, candles, and oil are limited supplies that matter when the mansion becomes dark. The story draws on the disappearance of the six-member Milasa family in Morocco in 1992, followed by the later disappearance of Ahmed’s father. Ahmed enters the mansion in 1998 to investigate what happened. The game presents this investigation through first-person psychological horror, environmental exploration, puzzle solving, and creature encounters.
