Our take on EPOCH
The store page gives equal weight to the campaign mystery and combat systems, but the repeatable structure is mainly shooting robot waves across campaign encounters and an endless arena. The narrative premise adds context, while the core play remains arcade-style combat with equipment setup.
What is EPOCH?
EPOCH is a single-player action shooter set in a post-apocalyptic world inhabited by robots.
Play as a guardian robot pursuing its original protective assignment while uncovering fragments of a lost civilization. Combat combines cover, target selection, dodging, crouching, leaping, weapons, missiles, countermeasures, and boosters. The campaign spans multiple locations and presents logs from characters connected to the old world's collapse. Salvaged parts from defeated enemies can be used to configure weapons, armor, boosters, and counters. An endless arena mode adds score-based battles against continuing robot waves. The PC version includes mouse and keyboard controls with keybinding, controller support, Steam leaderboards and achievements, destructible cover, and graphics settings for fullscreen, widescreen, and multiple resolutions.

EPOCH compared to similar games
EPOCH combines a solo robot-shooter campaign with an endless arena and equipment configuration. Hentai Vs Furries is also a third-person shooter with guns, but its description centers on quests, unlockable skins, emotes, and multiple camera angles rather than a story campaign and endless robot combat.
