Our take on Entity Strike
The focus on repeated survival runs narrows the experience to combat, upgrades, and progression between sessions. That design leaves less room for campaign structure, varied mission types, or slower exploration.
What is Entity Strike?
Set in a ruined, shadowy environment, this two-dimensional overhead survival game pits players against successive monster attacks.
Before each attempt, players select upgrades and prepare a loadout, then adapt their abilities as the run develops. Certain objectives completed during a session open further choices. Player actions also alter battlefield lighting, creating visual changes during combat. Points earned in runs can be spent in the Score Store on persistent upgrades and character improvements, carrying progress into later sessions. Each attempt centers on lasting as long as possible against enemy groups, while the between-run progression system continues to develop the character beyond a single session.
How Entity Strike plays
- 01Run-Based Loadouts
- Players select a starting setup and modify it with choices made during the run.
- 02Objective Unlocks
- Completing particular tasks during a session opens additional abilities.
- 03Reactive Lighting
- Lighting effects change in response to actions taken by the player.
- 04Persistent Progression
- Points earned across runs can be spent in the Score Store on upgrades that carry between sessions.
