Our take on Elven Legacy: Ranger
Players will hit a wall at the addon requirement: this content builds on Elven Legacy rather than presenting a standalone campaign. Those already in the base game may instead bounce off the fixed turn structure, where each unit normally receives one move and one attack.
What is Elven Legacy: Ranger?
This first Elven Legacy addon follows Cornelius, a ranger preparing the world of Illis for the expansion of the isolated Order of Marcus.
Cornelius carries a holy spear whose special abilities can be used without consuming his normal turn. He can, for example, paralyze an enemy and then throw the spear, dealing damage while preventing that unit from moving during the opposing turn. The expansion adds 16 missions, three heroes, five unique artifacts, and 12 spells. Its content builds on Elven Legacy's turn-based wargame structure, including the usual limit of one move and one attack per unit each turn, while giving Cornelius additional tactical options through his spear.
How Elven Legacy: Ranger plays

- 02Paralyzing attacks
