Our take on eden*
Its defining choice is a widescreen, illustration-heavy format that replaces much of the traditional visual-novel presentation with sequences built from event artwork.
What is eden*?
eden* is a visual novel set on a near-future Earth threatened by a red star that may end all life.
A global government prepares an evacuation into space and creates genetically modified humans called felixes to make it possible. Sion, the most gifted felix, has spent a century confined to an island research facility for this purpose. Ryou Haruna, a government soldier, arrives to supervise her as she seeks release from military control. The story centers on the relationship between Sion and Ryou. Instead of relying on conventional sprites and dialogue portraits, the game presents its narrative through predominantly event-based illustrations in a 1024 x 640 widescreen format, giving the visual novel a cinematic structure.
