What is EarthNight?
EarthNight is a hand-illustrated 2D platform game set in a future where dragons control the planet and people live in orbit.
Each attempt begins above Earth, with Sydney and Stanley descending through five atmospheric zones by alternating between freefall sections and runs along dragon backs. Side-scrolling stages combine jumping and dashing with dragon combat, hidden discoveries, scraps, and collectible items. Routes shift through procedurally assembled level variations, and over 25 powerups can change the way a run plays. The world features over 40 enemy types, over 15 dragon varieties, and hundreds of collectables. Its visual presentation uses over 10,000 painted animation and artwork frames, while an original soundtrack supplies more than 20 songs.
