Our take on Dyadic
The cooperative framing understates how much the game depends on rivalry: the central relic gives players a reason to withhold cooperation, while traps can be used against the other participant. The one-controller feature is also a major part of the play structure, not just an alternate input option.
What is Dyadic?
Dyadic is a local two-player puzzle platformer set in ancient ruins.
Players navigate three distinct zones, solving environmental puzzles and dealing with traps while deciding whether cooperation serves their shared escape. Both players want to leave with the Jade Statue, so teamwork can conflict with control of the relic. The game supports play with one shared controller, two controllers, or a keyboard. With one controller, both players operate it simultaneously and can twist it to disrupt each other's actions. Players can also choose to work separately, compete, or interfere with one another as they progress through the ruins.
How Dyadic plays

- 04Trap-Filled Puzzles
