StrategyIs DungeonUp worth it for you?
We tell you who should skip it, too.
Play it if you…
Good fit- Rogue-like fans who want changing dungeon layouts across repeated runs
- Puzzle players who enjoy combining combat decisions with item-based challenges
- Players seeking either a shorter Maze Mode session or a longer multi-zone campaign
Skip it if you…
Saves you a refund- Players who want a fixed, story-first campaign may find the procedurally generated runs less structured
- Players seeking combat without frequent route and puzzle decisions may hit a wall early
- Players looking for cooperative dungeon play will not find a multiplayer-focused structure here
Our take on DungeonUp
The bounce point arrives when each few-step choice must account for both combat and puzzle consequences. Players who prefer clear routes or uninterrupted fighting may stall at the need to weigh enemy abilities, item use, and limited dungeon decisions together.
What is DungeonUp?
DungeonUp is a rogue-like dungeon crawler and puzzle game in which a human knight battles monsters while making frequent route and combat choices.
The game contains more than 50 levels across five themed zones, plus over 10 levels with secrets and plot elements. Procedurally generated levels create different challenges on repeated runs. More than 40 monsters include enemies with special abilities, and each zone has a boss encounter that requires tactical decisions. Over 40 unique items include some tied to puzzles. Three difficulty levels support different play styles, while Maze Mode offers shorter sessions. Player-created maps provide additional areas to explore.
