Our take on Dungeons & Dragons - Stronghold: Kingdom Simulator
The page stresses the many details players can manage, while also offering computer assistance for much of the work. The amount of hands-on kingdom administration is therefore a choice, rather than a constant requirement.
What is Dungeons & Dragons - Stronghold: Kingdom Simulator?
Build and expand a stronghold in the Dungeons & Dragons world while competing against computer-controlled kingdoms for the title of Emperor.
Choose a lawful approach focused on prosperity and morale, a chaotic approach based on military victory, or a neutral approach that pursues both goals. Kingdom management covers construction, farmland, population, housing, troops, morale and changing seasons, as well as D&D monsters. More than 100 structures include castles, mines, marketplaces, temples and granaries. Players can manage these details themselves or let the computer handle much of the work. Scenarios include pre-created worlds and computer-generated random settings. Combat is animated, and the game is for one player against computer-controlled opponents.
