Our take on Dungeon Hearts
The store framing emphasizes frenetic rune combat and a broad adventure, while the stated structure centers on four heroes, randomized battles, and repeated matching under pressure. The narrative and lore are present, but the campaign scope is not presented as branching or expansive.
What is Dungeon Hearts?
Dungeon Hearts combines match-three puzzle play with action-focused battles and RPG progression.
Players align magical runes moving along the Fatestream to attack enemies, defend heroes, cast spells, and create chained attacks. Four heroes have individual abilities and can gain special powers for attacks, healing, and time manipulation. Each new adventure generates a battle sequence across ten environments, with more than 40 creatures and 7 bosses. Enemies cast hexes and become stronger as the journey advances toward a final battle with The Dark One. Defeated foes reveal pieces of the world and the heroes’ histories, while four additional soundtracks in different musical genres can be unlocked.
