Our take on Drifting Cloud
The page gives the multiplayer modes concrete objectives, but solo play is framed mainly around evading incoming enemies and chasing a high score. Its points system also ties new rockets and multiplayer emotes to enemy kills, rather than describing a broader progression structure.
What is Drifting Cloud?
Drifting Cloud is an arcade action game where rockets leave trails that can cause collisions.
In solo play, enemies fly toward the player, who steers different rockets to evade them and make enemies crash into the trails. A points and upgrades system awards new rockets and multiplayer emotes based on the number of enemies killed in a game. Rockets have different special abilities and playstyles.
Online play supports up to 4 players across three modes: free-for-all, 1v1 Volley, and 1v1 or 2v2 Capture the Flag. Volley centers on hitting a ball into the opponent’s goal, while Capture the Flag involves taking a flag from the center and placing it in the opposing goal. The game also has a singleplayer mode focused on pursuing a high score.
