Our take on Africa Hunting
Rather than following a conventional heroic shooter setup, the game places the player in the role of a pirate who destroys aircraft while collecting humanitarian cargo. Its scoring rules also reverse the usual target logic: cargo planes should be spared, while other aircraft provide points when destroyed.
What is Africa Hunting?
Africa Hunting casts the player as Abig, who becomes a pirate during a crisis and riots in Africa.
The core task is to destroy aircraft, collect humanitarian cargo, and evade rockets. Transport planes and military aircraft should be shot down, with each destroyed plane adding 1 point. Cargo planes should be left intact because destroying one removes 5 points; some release humanitarian cargo that adds 1 point when collected. Military aircraft can fire rockets that can kill Abig if not avoided. The game includes three aircraft types, a soundtrack, simple gameplay, and Steam achievements. Its score system makes target selection part of each encounter, as cargo planes penalize destruction while other aircraft provide points.
