Our take on Dream Cycle
Rather than keeping its world fixed across visits, Dream Cycle reshapes the Dreamlands and changes the challenges and stories encountered on return trips. Its action-adventure structure also offers stealth as an alternative to direct combat.
What is Dream Cycle?
Dream Cycle is a procedural action adventure set in the Dreamlands, where Morgan Carter, a modern-day arcanist, tries to free trapped souls before a threat reaches the waking world.
Explore varied biomes, investigate what happened in each dream, and fight enemies using weapons, spells, and special abilities. Encounters can be approached with direct attacks or stealth, while new skills and abilities can be acquired during play. The world changes on each visit, and returning to explored locations brings different challenges and stories. The setting draws on Lovecraftian cosmic horror and includes places and characters from the Dreamlands. The game also features professional voice acting and an original soundtrack.
