Our take on Dragonsphere
The store page emphasizes grand fantasy stakes, unusual races, animation, and presentation features. The playable scope described here is narrower: a puzzle-led adventure with monster encounters and item collection, rather than a broader role-playing system.
What is Dragonsphere?
Dragonsphere is a fantasy adventure about the newly crowned King of Callahach, whose father once imprisoned the sorcerer Sanwe.
As that spell weakens, the king travels across the realm to stop Sanwe’s returning influence. The journey includes mind-bending puzzles, magical items, deadly monsters, and encounters with unusual peoples such as the shape-shifting Slathans, Brynn-Fann, and Soptus Ecliptus. The game presents its story through digitized speech, music, rotoscoped animation, and an interface built around a broad range of actions. A high-quality FLAC version of the soundtrack is included.

Dragonsphere compared to similar games
Planescape: Torment: Enhanced Edition centers on story, characters, and exploration of a strange city, while Dragonsphere focuses on puzzles, magical items, monsters, and a kingdom-spanning fantasy quest. Jusant is built around climbing tools, stamina management, and routes up a tower, rather than Dragonsphere’s puzzle-and-adventure structure.
