What is Downfall?
Downfall is a roguelike hack-and-slash game about Faust, whose dealings with the devil have led to recurring nightmares.
Players fight enemy waves using rifles, machine guns, shotguns, rocket launchers, and other weapons, while active and passive skills alter combat abilities. Relics and equipment can be collected, strengthened, dismantled, or combined to raise equipment rank. Relics placed in an exhibition hall provide permanent stat increases. Survival mode focuses on enduring attacking hordes, Hunt mode features increasingly strong enemies and bosses, and Excavation mode provides relics for character development. The game supports controller and keyboard controls.
