Our take on DON'T SCREAM
Instead of treating sound as background atmosphere, the game makes microphone volume part of the survival rule. Movement also controls the clock, replacing a continuously advancing timer with progress tied to player action.
What is DON'T SCREAM?
DON’T SCREAM is a jump-scare horror simulator set in a pitch-black forest.
The objective is to last until 8:00 AM while moving through the forest, uncovering secrets, avoiding hunters, and keeping a camcorder powered. Time advances only while the character moves. A microphone is required, and it must be calibrated in-game. Quiet speech is permitted, but excessive volume ends the game and causes a restart. The game combines exploration, voice control, movement, and evasion. It also presents a challenge for friends to see who can remain quiet the longest.
