Our take on Don't Panic!
The placement-focused design keeps decisions centered on setup and chain reactions, but gives up direct control over the zombies once they are deployed. Civilian behavior adds variation, while the level editor shifts some of the game's depth toward player-made puzzles.
What is Don't Panic!?
Play top-down strategic puzzles by placing a limited number of zombies in selected locations.
Each zombie moves toward the nearest person, kills them, and then pursues another target. Civilians behave differently: some flee, some may escape the city and end the level, and some shoot at zombies. Boosters add alternative actions, including breaking arms, transforming a person into a zombie, causing explosions, and crushing groups. A level editor lets players build custom puzzles, populate them with people, and share them with friends.
