Our take on Doll Impostor
The horror framing puts the emphasis on fear and urgency, while the main activity is a deduction loop involving clues, movement patterns, suspect removal, and door management. The dolls’ relationships and ability to manipulate one another are central complications rather than background details.
What is Doll Impostor?
Doll Impostor is a horror investigation game for 1–4 players.
Guardians examine clues left by the suspected impostor, observe doll movements, and eliminate candidates before 9 a. m. Each doll has preferences, relationships, and reactions to events or surroundings. Music and television can be used to trigger responses, while traps provide another way to investigate. Dolls may move one another or destroy others to create misleading evidence. Keeping the door closed is part of the investigation, since an open door can let the impostor escape, change the elimination order, or prevent survival through the night. Jumpscares are included and can be disabled.
